Bold, punchy color is having a heyday, and orange is the life of the party. The fashion crowd was quick to embrace the fun and has remained loyal since last season’s debut. This spring,

orange reached its runway zenith: From Jimmy Choo’s sleek patent sandal to the luscious Mimo handbag, fiery shades of sunset are everywhere.

It wasn’t long, of course, before orange invited itself home. Think wearing an orange accessory sparks a smile? Imagine the possibilities when a pop of color enlivens a room. Even neutral-lovers may be swayed by the uplifting nature of this happy hue. (Orange is so right with white and simply stunning with gray.)

The sociable spirit of an entryway seemed the perfect showcase for the slices of orange we found around town: a curvy lamp with a custom shade, a modern chair with a vibrant cushion, even a vintage sign and letter recalling iconic orange moments from decades past.
